50 lbs. of halite/rock will cover 100 square yards
80 lbs. of halite/rock will cover 160 square yards
Calculation to cover one acre = 4840 square yards x 8 oz. = 38,720 oz. / 16oz. (1 lb.) = 2420 lbs
